We are seeking a strategic, dedicated, and influential Board Member to join our organization and provide high-level governance, oversight, and visionary leadership. Key Responsibilities
Strategic Governance: Participate in board meetings to define the organization’s mission, set strategic goals, and ensure the organization remains true to its core purpose.

Fiduciary Oversight: Review financial statements, audit reports, and operating budgets to ensure legal compliance and the responsible stewardship of organizational resources.

Resource Development: Act as an ambassador for the organization, leveraging personal and professional networks to support fundraising efforts, donor cultivation, and community outreach.

Policy Stewardship: Approve and oversee organizational policies, ensuring they align with best practices in governance, ethics, and industry standards.

Leadership Development: Provide guidance, support, and constructive feedback to the Executive Director or CEO to ensure effective organizational management.

Committee Participation: Serve on specific committees (e.g., Finance, Governance, Development) to provide specialized expertise and drive progress on key organizational priorities.

Public Advocacy: Represent the organization at public events, sector conferences, and community gatherings to enhance our brand visibility and reputation.

Requirements & Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Law, Public Administration, or related fields; an advanced degree (MBA, JD) is highly desirable.

Experience: 5+ years of leadership experience, preferably with prior board service, senior management, or professional experience in a specialized field (e.g., finance, law, marketing, or HR).

Technical Skills:

Aptitude for interpreting financial statements, budgets, and operational performance metrics.

Familiarity with non-profit legal and tax compliance standards.

Experience with board-level strategic planning and high-level project management.
