We are seeking a high-energy, detail-oriented, and personable On-site Recruitment & Onboarding Specialist to manage the immediate talent needs during our large-scale events and field operations. In this role, you will be the face of our organization for all new staff and volunteers, responsible for quickly processing applicants, verifying credentials, and ensuring every team member is fully prepared to hit the ground running. Key Responsibilities
Rapid Recruitment: Execute on-site hiring initiatives, including managing walk-in applicants, conducting quick-screen interviews, and filling critical staffing gaps in real-time.
Streamlined Onboarding: Oversee the end-to-end onboarding process, including collection of tax/employment forms, verification of identification, and distribution of event credentials and uniforms.
Just-in-Time Training: Facilitate brief, high-impact orientation sessions to ensure all new hires understand site safety, role-specific responsibilities, and operational standards.
Compliance & Documentation: Maintain accurate, real-time records of all on-site hires, ensuring full compliance with labor laws, background checks, and organizational safety mandates.
On-Site Coordination: Act as the primary point of contact for new recruits, addressing logistical questions, issuing equipment, and resolving initial onboarding bottlenecks.
Data Integrity: Track recruitment metrics and staffing levels throughout the event, providing regular updates to management to ensure proper coverage across all zones.
Team Integration: Facilitate the transition of new staff into their assigned teams, fostering a welcoming environment and ensuring they are introduced to their respective supervisors.
Requirements & Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field; certification in recruitment or HR is preferred.
Experience: 2–4 years of experience in high-volume recruitment, staffing agencies, or on-site event operations.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in applicant tracking systems (ATS) and digital onboarding platforms (e.g., DocuSign, Workday, or similar).
Ability to operate in paperless environments using tablets/mobile devices for documentation.
Strong aptitude for managing high-volume data entry and administrative processing under pressure.

Engaging Communication: Excellent public speaking and interpersonal skills, capable of maintaining a positive and professional demeanor in high-pressure settings.

Proactivity: Ability to anticipate staffing gaps and take initiative to fill roles before they impact operations.
