Check with seller Building & Habitat Work
- Location: Dong Nai City, vietnam
We are seeking a Facility Habitat & Structural Lead to oversee the rehabilitation and long-term stabilization of our physical environment. This role is dedicated to the "muck and gut" of habitat restoration—transforming compromised structures into safe, functional, and resilient spaces for people and operations. If you have a deep understanding of sustainable building practices, a rigorous approach to site remediation, and the ability to manage the complexities of rebuilding in post-disaster or high-risk environments, this is an outstanding opportunity to restore operational integrity and foster a secure, stable habitat.
Key Responsibilities
Structural Integrity Analysis: Perform comprehensive inspections of building shells and internal systems to identify vulnerabilities, structural damage, and the extent of required habitat restoration.
Site Remediation & Cleansing: Manage the high-intensity "muck and gut" process—stripping out contaminated materials, neutralizing hazards, and preparing foundations for structural renewal.
Resilient Reconstruction: Oversee the rebuilding of critical internal habitats (offices, storage, personnel zones), utilizing disaster-hardened materials and design standards to ensure long-term survivability.
System Integration: Coordinate the restoration of essential life-support and operational utilities, including HVAC, electrical, water/sanitation, and structural reinforcement systems.
Compliance & Standards: Ensure all reconstruction efforts adhere to local building codes, safety regulations, and environmental health standards for long-term habitation.
Site Logistics: Direct the movement of heavy materials, waste streams, and equipment within restricted or hazardous site conditions, maintaining efficiency while prioritizing safety.
Documentation & Reporting: Maintain granular logs of all repairs, material usage, and structural modifications to support insurance audits and future maintenance planning.
Requirements & Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field; certifications in industrial safety or disaster management are highly preferred.
Experience: 5+ years of experience in construction, facilities management, or environmental site restoration, ideally in recovery-focused environments.
Technical Skills:
Expertise in building systems (MEP), structural engineering principles, and material science for resilient construction.
Proficiency in project management and site design software (e.g., BIM, CAD).
Strong knowledge of hazardous material containment and site remediation protocols.
Personal Attributes:
Forensic Precision: A methodical approach to identifying and addressing the root causes of structural or environmental failure.
Resilience & Adaptability: Ability to thrive in high-stakes reconstruction scenarios where site conditions change rapidly.
Detail-Oriented Discipline: Unwavering commitment to safety codes and quality control, ensuring that "habitat" means both "operational" and "safe."
Collaborative Leadership: Proven ability to manage multi-disciplinary teams in physically and mentally demanding environments.
