We are seeking a Resilience Operations Specialist (Muck and Gut) who thrives on digging into the technical trenches to ensure true system survival. This is not a role for high-level strategists who prefer charts over cables; we need someone who gets their hands dirty, audits the "messy" reality of our infrastructure, and relentlessly hunts down single points of failure. Key Responsibilities
Deep-Dive Auditing: Perform granular "muck and gut" audits of our environment, exposing configuration drifts, hidden dependencies, and "zombie" processes that threaten recovery success.

Hardening & Remediation: Actively remediate identified gaps, from correcting legacy storage configurations to fixing inconsistent data replication paths that standard automated tools often miss.

Integrity Validation: Conduct manual "gut-check" verification of data backups and restored environments, moving beyond dashboard status reports to confirm that systems are actually operational and data-accurate.

Resilience Engineering: Strengthen our foundation by building failover scripts, documenting "tribal knowledge" configurations, and ensuring that emergency procedures are reality-tested, not just theoretical.

Crisis Triage: Serve as the primary technical lead during system outages, directly manipulating recovery assets to bring critical services back online when automated failovers fail.

Vendor & Tool Scrutiny: Critically evaluate and troubleshoot our recovery stack, cutting through marketing claims to ensure our tools work reliably under heavy stress.

Process Rigor: Enforce strict documentation standards for "dirty" configurations, ensuring that critical infrastructure details are clearly mapped, accessible, and maintained.

Requirements & Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field; or equivalent combination of deep, hands-on technical experience.

Experience: 3+ years in systems engineering, site reliability engineering (SRE), or deep-level infrastructure support.

Technical Skills:

Strong proficiency in CLI-based troubleshooting, script automation (PowerShell, Python, Bash), and storage-level data manipulation.

Practical experience recovering data from "unhealthy" states or corrupt snapshots.

Deep knowledge of the "gut" of enterprise systems: SAN storage, low-level networking, and bare-metal recovery workflows.
